Learned counsel submits that the petitioners are the owner of a revenue site, carved out of Sy.Nos.66/1, 67/2 and 67/3 of Bylakere Village, Hessaraghatta Hobli, Yelahanka Taluk. The petitioners are seeking an opportunity to appear before the Bopaiah - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:10596 WP No. 7317 of 2025 Committee, which was constituted after following the directions issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the matter of 'Dr.Shivaram Karanth Layout'. It is pointed out from the said order in WP.No.27997/2024 that this Court noticed the directions issued by the Division Bench in W.P.No.14609/2023 dated 11.07.2024, whereby four weeks time was granted to the BDA to publish information, both in print and electronic media, to apprise all such persons who claim to have revenue sites in the land notified for the formation of 'Dr.Shivaram Karanth Layout'. Further, all such persons were permitted to approach the Committee with grievance, and the Committee was directed to consider such grievance for allotment of alternative sites. However, when the petitioners made an application on 13.02.2025 through the Bangalore Development Authority, the same is not placed before the Committee. Learned counsel for the petitioners therefore prays for similar directions as were issued in W.P.No.27997/2024. 2. Accepting the submissions of learned counsel for petitioners, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to place the application at Annexure-D before the Bopaiah Committee for consideration in - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:10596 WP No. 7317 of 2025 terms of the directions issued by the Division Bench. As and when the application is placed before the Committee, the Committee is requested to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law The application shall be placed before the Committee as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
