No.2 in not taking appropriate action on the Proceedings of Respondent No.3 vide RC.No.9076/A5/2021, dated 08.09.2022 regarding compassionate appointment of the Petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. The facts of the case are as follows; 2. The mother of Petitioner by name late M. Franchina was worked as SGT in CSI Primary School, V. Rudravaram, Ghantasala Mandal, Krishna District since 1984. While so, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the mother of the Petitioner had expired on 06.05.2021 while in service. The Petitioner being the eldest son and claiming to be dependent on his mother submitted an application for compassionate appointmentto Respondent No.4 and the same was forwarded to Respondent No.3 vide Proceedings dated 03.01.2022. Subsequently, Respondent No.3 forwarded the full particulars of the Petitioner for his appointment on compassionate grounds to Respondent No.2 on 08.09.2022 vide Proceedings dated 08.09.2022. However, no action was being taken thereon. Hence, the present Writ 3. Petition is filed. 2 4. No Counter Affidavit was filed by the Respondents 5. Considering that the relief sought for by the Petitioner is only for consideration of his case for appointment on compassionate grounds in view of the full particulars, which have been sent to the District Collector, Kakinada vide Proceedings RC.No.9076/A5/2021 08.09.2022, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions; dated (i) Respondent No.2 is directed to consider the application of the Petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in terms of the Scheme and Rules in vogue, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from today; (ii) No order as to costs. 6.
