Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel for opposite parties no.1 to 6. 2. In view of order being passed, notices to opposite parties no.7,8 & 9 stand dispensed with. 3. The present petition has been filed seeking a writ in the nature of quo warranto against the concerned person. Further prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to authority concerned to take appropriate action against the concerned person in case the Caste Certificate is found to be false. 4. Mr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra, learned State counsel has raised a preliminary objection regarding maintainability of this petition in view of the fact that quo warranto cannot be issued with regard to the post concerned which is that of a Police Constable.
