By way of the present application, filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, a prayer for condonation of delay of 154 days in filing the appeal has been made. For the reasons stated therein, the application under consideration is allowed and the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. The application stands disposed of accordingly. Arb. As such, during the pendency of the appeal, the operation of impugned order dated 18.11.2023, passed by the Ld. District Judge, Bilaspur District BIlaspur, H.P., in Arbitration Petition No. 10 of 2019, titled as “NHAI versus Roshan Lal and others”, shall remain stayed, subject to the condition that the applicant shall deposit the entire awarded amount, along with up-to-date interest, within a period of six weeks, from today.
