This is first bail application filed under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant in Crime No. 295/2024 registered at Police Station Urla, Raipur . 2. The prosecution version is that the mother of the victim has lodged the report that on 06.09.2024 the accused took away her daughter to his house on motorcycle and after locking his house, he raped the girl.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has not committed any offence as alleged by prosecution and he has been falsely implicated. He further submits that out of 16 witnesses, only the prosecutrix has been examined till date; the applicant is in jail since 07.09.2024 and the trial is likely to take time, therefore, he may be enlarged on bail.
4. Per contra, learned State Counsel opposes the bail application and submits that the girl was minor at the time of incident.
5. The victim girl along with her mother appears in person and they have raised objection to grant of bail.
6. Having considered the submission of the learned counsel for the parties and the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to release him on regular bail. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected.
7. However, looking to the custody period of the applicant, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and ensure that the trial is concluded as early as possible. Sd/-
