This Court, vide order dated 18.10.2024, passed in MCRC No. 6437 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Bhola Pradhan, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bilaspur, District- Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 11.04.2025 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, out of 12 prosecution witnesses, statements of 11 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and the evidence of only seizure / memorandum witness Jitendra Soni is yet to be recorded. In the above case, arrest warrant has been issued against the accused due to the absence of the accused on the date of appearance-11-03-2025. At present, the case is being scheduled for the presence of the accused, due to which the conclusion of the trial is not possible within the stipulated time, therefore, he prays for grant of further four months time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today, if there is no legal impediment. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
