Copy of certificate issued by the Superintendent Model Central Jail, Kanda shows that the applicant has undergone two years and fifteen days of imprisonment as on 06th July, 2025 against the maximum imprisonment of five years awarded by the learned Trial Court. Thus, it is apparent that the applicant has undergone a substantial part of imprisonment and the appeal is not likely to be heard soon. Before this appeal can come up for hearing, the applicant would have undergone the major part of sentence, therefore, it is ordered that the substantive sentence of imprisonment awarded by learned Trial Court upon the applicant shall remain suspended during the pendency of the present appeal subject to deposit of fine amount, if not deposited earlier and furnishing of
personal and surety bonds in the sum of ₹25,000/-each undertaking therein to appear before this Court as and when called upon to do so and surrender before learned Trial Court in case of dismissal of appeal. The bail bonds, so furnished by the applicant, be transmitted to this Court for record. The present application stands disposed of. Cr. Appeal No. 406/2025 Record has been received.
