UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER Date : Date: 31.07.2025 None has appeared for the petitioner on call. This Court, vide order dated 15.06.2022, had disposed of the writ petition being WP(C) No. 3910/2022 with the following directions: - “Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and after hearing the learned counsel for both the sides, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the claim of the petitioner, I dispose of the writ petition at the stage of motion hearing, with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner (Annexure-D) and dispose of the same with a speaking order, as expeditiously as possible but not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.” It is seen that in pursuance to the said direction, the petitioner, on 05.07.2022, had approached the Chairman, Silchar Development Authority and submitted a certified copy of the said order dated 15.06.2022. Mr. S. P. Choudhury, learned counsel representing the respondent, has placed on record a speaking order dated 28.03.2023, passed by the Chairman, Silchar Development Authority, whereby, the representation submitted by the petitioner was disposed of. On a perusal of the order dated 28.03.2023, this Court is of the considered view that the directions passed by the order dated 15.06.2022 has been substantially complied with. Accordingly, there being no deliberate or willful violation of the directions passed by this Court, the present contempt petition stands closed, in view of the passing of the speaking order dated 28.03.2023. Notices issued stand recalled. A copy of the order dated 28.03.2023, furnished by Mr. S. P.
