This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6537 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Sikender Singh, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 06.11.2023. 4. The learned Special Judge (Protection of Depositors Interest Act), Surajpur District-Surajpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 09.04.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that as per the trial program presented by the prosecution in the said case, a total of 41 prosecution witnesses are to be examined, out of which 25 prosecution witnesses have been examined till the present date and 02 witnesses have died and the case is being continuously fixed for the evidence of the remaining prosecution witnesses. In the case, a supplementary charge-sheet has been presented on 24.03.2025 against two other accused Subrato Bhattacharya and Gurmeet Singh, who are to be tried along with the other accused and the time prescribed by this Court is also going to be expired therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today, if there is no legal impediment. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
