Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 2. With the consent of the parties, the matter is being finally decided. 3. By means of this petition, petitioner is praying for a mandamus commanding the opposite parties No. 1 to 3 to restrain the opposite party No.4 i.e. Station House Officer, Police Station Patranga, District Ayodhya from harassing the petitioner. 4. The contention is that despite there being no FIR lodged against the petitioner yet respondent No.4 is harassing the petitioner. 5. On the other hand, learned AGA on the basis of instructions sent by Sri Tarun Raj, Sub Inspector, Police Station Patranga, District Ayodhya states that an FIR had been lodged against the brother of the petitioner in which final report has already been submitted. He further states that no harassment would be caused against the petitioner. 6. The aforesaid statement is recorded. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
