PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER.- This Criminal Petition, under sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A1, seeking bail, in Crime No.84/2024 of Mothugudem police Station, A.S.R. A case has been registered against the petitioner and Others for the offences under Section 111 (2)(b) of B.N.S.Act and Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of{he prosecution, is that, on 19.ll.2024 at about 02.00pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.I of Police, along with staff and mediators conducted vehicle checking opposite to Mothugudem police station and found five persons in suspicious circumstances. On seeing the police, said five persons tried to escape. Then police apprehended four of them. On interrogation, they disclosed their identity particulars as A3 to.A6 and on search, police found 30 kgs of ganja in their possession. They confessed the involvement of the petitioner/Al in the transportation of the ganja. police seized the contraband, arrested the accused and got remanded tO judicial custody. Police arrested the petitioner on 15.5.2025. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major Part Of the investigation is completed except filing of charge sheet for Want Of R.F.S.L. report and prays to dismiss the Criminal-Petition. 6. A perusal of the material available On record goes tO Show that the petitioner wast arrested and remanded to judicial custody on.15.5.2025. police on credible information seized 30 kgs of ganja from A3 to A6. pursuant to the confessional statement of co-accused, nothing has been -`.i T _FirfiP 3 seized from the possession of the petitioner to connect him with the crime. Basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the petitioner has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. 7. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/Al herein, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioner/Al herein shall be released on his executing a Personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram; (ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and O5100 p.m1, till filing of charge sheet. 8I Accordingly, the criminal Petition is allowed. //TRUE COPY// SD/- K.SRINIVASA RAJU AS S ISTANTZngsTRAR SECTION OFFICER I To, 1.
