ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“… to pass an order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in restricting the Petitioner to perform his duties as a Field Assistant without either issuing show cause notice or assigning any reasons and thereby not considering the representation of the Petitioner, dated 21.04.2025, resultantly putting the Petitioner in a predicament, as being illegal, arbitrary, violative to the cardinal principles of natural justice and fundamental rights enshrined under Articles 19 and 21 of the Indian Constitution and consequently, direct the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to perform his duties diligently by paying his all the dues and arrears and pass ….”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development for respondents 1 and 2; Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel, for respondents 3 and 4; and Smt.B.V. Aparna Lakshmi, learned standing counsel, for 5th respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is being prevented from attending and discharging his duties as Field Assistant.
4. On the other hand, Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 3 and 4, has placed on record written instructions, dated 18.08.2025, stating that respondents are not obstructing petitioner from discharging his duties, instead, it is the petitioner who is not attending to his duties on his own, due to which, they have made alternative arrangements to ensure the petitioner’s work is attended to.
5. As, on written instructions, it is stated that respondents are not obstructing the petitioner from discharging his duties, recording the aforesaid statement, as the petitioner’s grievance stands redressed, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
