Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed challenging order dated 25.08.2025 whereby his representation for posting after promotion has been rejected. 3. It appears that earlier petitioner had filed Writ A No.7956 of 2025 challenging transfer orders dated 14.06.2025 and 15.06.2025. The said petition was disposed of vide order dated 24.07.2025 directing the authorities concerned to decide petitioner's grievance. Impugned order has been passed in pursuance thereof. 4. It also appears that in pursuance of directions issued by this Court, petitioner submitted undated representation which was received by opposite parties on 01.08.2025. 5. However from a perusal of the aforesaid representation, it is evident that the only ground taken is that petitioner’s aged parents would face serious difficulties in view of the fact that petitioner has been posted 654 kilometers away. 6. In the considered opinion of this Court, the aforesaid ground is not a cogent one on which petitioner's representation was required to be allowed particularly since posting has been effected due to petitioner's promotion and not as transfer. However liberty is granted to petitioner to agitate his cause for posting in view of problem being faced by him in the next annual routine transfer which shall be considered. 8.
