The Court made the following Order:
1. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has completed works as entrusted by the 2nd respondent authorities; however, the amounts have not been paid. Despite completion of the work, it is submitted that initially the value of the work was Rs.29,59,391.43 which was subsequently endorsed to Rs.35,25,000.00, and that the petitioner executed work to the best satisfaction of the 2nd respondent. It is also submitted that only part of the amount was released to the petitioner, and the respondent authorities have not settled the final bills of the petitioner. 2. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that the respondent authorities have released payments for the work done as certified by the Executive Engineer, Tadepalligudem Municipality. It is submitted that part of the amount, which was found due payable to the petitioner, was released. 3. On the contrary, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has all the records to substantiate his claim and that the respondent authorities have only released part of the outstanding dues. It is also submitted that M Books for the entire work are available with the petitioner and that the same shall be submitted to the 2nd respondent authorities for consideration for the release of the balance payment. The petitioner shall submit the M books for certifying the work done for the contract awarding; the 2nd respondent shall verify and release the balance due payable to the petitioner within a period of

eight (08) weeks from the date of the representation of the petitioner together with the extracts of the M books. 4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
