Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State. 2. The applicant has approached this Court for getting a direction issued to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No.17, Sultanpur to decide the Complaint Case No. 5457/2023, filed by the applicant on 23.12.2019, titled as "Bhupendra Kumar Singh Vs. Manojdhar Dubey", under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Police Station Haliyapaur, District Sultanpur, within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice. 3. The aforesaid case of the applicant is pending since the year 2023. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that under Section 143(3) of the N.I. Act, it is provided that every trial under this Section shall be conducted as expeditiously as possible and an endeavour shall be made to conclude the trial within six months from the date of filing of the complaint. He has submitted that since long time, the case is pending without substantial progress. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the court concerned is directed to adhere to the provisions of Section 143(3) of the N.I. Act and accordingly expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case in accordance with law. 5. This application stands disposed of.
