1. Present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashment of FIR No. 16 of 2016 and final report No. 32 of 2019 followed by FIR No. 16 of 2016 (Annexure P/1) and entire criminal proceedings pending in Special S.T. No. 15 of 2019 as well as charges framed against the petitioners by the learned Special Judge, Authorized under Section 14 of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Jashpur for the offence punishable under Section 294, 506 Part- II of IPC and Section 3(1)(s) and 3(1)(va) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
2. The petitioners have filed the present CRMP with the following reliefs:
“It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and quash the impugned FIR No. 16/2016 and final report no. 32/2019 followed by FIR no. 16/2016 (Annexure P/1) and entire criminal proceedings
3 pending in Special S.T. No. 15/2019 as well as charges framed against the petitioners by the learned Special Judge, Authorized Under Section 14 of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Jashpur (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 294, 506 Part-11 of Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, in the interest of justice.”

Learned counsel appearing for the parties would submit that the trial of the case is concluded and the petitioners have been acquitted of the charges leveled against them.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, that the trial of the case is concluded and the petitioners have been acquitted of the charges, the present CRMP stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
