It is also submitted that in view of the huge delay in filing the additional written statement, costs should also be imposed. 2. As the application seeking to file additional written statement has been filed only after the trial is open, I feel this application may be allowed on condition that the applicants pay costs of Rs.2,000/- to the first respondent / plaintiff. 3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the applicants paid a sum of Rs.2,000/- directly to the learned counsel for the first respondent who is present in the Court.
