Side) 1/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.31314 of 2025 O R D E R The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 146 of BNS, 2023 and Section 16 of Bonded Labour System ( Abolition) Act, 1976 in Crime No.225 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail. 2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner engaged two victims as bonded labours in his poultry farm and the same was informed to concerned authority and immediately both were rescued and proper enquiries were also ordered and criminal case also registered. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the they are not bonded labours and they were working in the farm. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation is pending. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the fact that the petitioners engaged two persons one is aged about 20 years and another is aged about 60 years as bonded labours for a long period and the investigation is pending in this case, this Court is not 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.31314 of 2025 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.
