Respondent/s BEFORE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 18.09.2025 [1] Heard Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel for the petitioner. [2] By present petition, the petitioner is mainly praying for implementation of the proposal made by the Director (Transport)-cum- Secretary/STA, Manipur vide order dated 10.12.2018 whereby the routes from Pologround Maning Parking to Manipur University Gate, Tampha Bazar and Canchipur have to be finalized between the petitioner who are Nongpok Ningthou Pakhangba Transport Co- operative Society Ltd. and South East Transport Co-operative Society Ltd. (earlier known as South East Jeep Transport Co-operative Society Ltd.). [3] The grievance of the petitioner is that finalization of the route in terms of the proposal made in the order dated 10.12.2018 is not completed and as such, status quo for the route from Pologround Maning Parking to Manipur University Gate, Tampha Gazar and Canchipur are operated as status quo. It is prayed that the Transport Department be directed to complete finalization of route and it is submitted that writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondents to finalize the proposal made in the order dated 10.12.2018. [4] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned G.A. for the State respondent, has no objection in issuing innocuous order for completing the process as proposed in the order dated 10.12.2025. [5] Recording the submissions made at the bar, writ petition is disposed of by giving three months time to the Transport Department for finalization of the route as proposed in the order dated 10.12.2018 issued by the Director (Transport)-cum-Secretary/STA, Manipur.
