The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order dated 03/10/2024 passed by this Court wherein it was directed that the petitioner depositing 50% demand raised within a period of 07 days, the electricity connection of the petitioner be restored. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner has deposited Rs.59000/- as per the direction of this Court and requested the respondent to comply the order of this Court but the order has not been complied with. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the electricity connection of the petitioner has been restored. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. The Respondent has filed the reply, wherein at para 4 it has been categorically stated that the connection of the petitioner has been restored. 6. In view of this, no deliberate contempt is made out against the contemnor. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed and the contempt petition is disposed of.
