ORDER The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2) , 132 and 351(2) of BNS in Crime No.368 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The allegations against the petitioners is that the petitioners were found in possession of venison. When the officers of the forest intervened to stop them and to secure them, the petitioners attacked them with stick and stones and ran away from there. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case and there is no serious injuries was caused to the officers. Hence, prays for grant of bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the officers, who are forest guards and rangers, while on regular patrol, they have seen the petitioners and intercepted them. At the time, the petitioners attacked the officers. Hence, opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners. 5.I have also gone through the FIR and accident register, it revealed that 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
Crl.O.P.No.31190 of 2025 officers also sustained injuries. Hence, I am of the view that if the petitioners are granted bail they will indulge in similar activities, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
