Since the instant matter is being decided at the admission stage, therefore, notice to the opposite party no. 4, is hereby dispensed with. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ran Vijay Singh,learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the opposite parties no. 1 to 3. Instant writ petition has been filed with the following relief :- "(i)To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus. commanding the Director (opposite party No.2) to grant approval on petitioner's selection on the post of Principal of the college." Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the matter was already placed before the Director vide letter dated 08-12-2023 and subsequently, it was sent on 30-05-2025 by the District Social Welfare Officer(Vikas),Lucknow, which is pending consideration. He submitted that the interest of justice would be sub-served if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the Director, Social Welfare Department, Directorate, Lucknow to consider and decide the letter dated 30-05-2025 sent by the District Social Welfare Officer(Vikas), Lucknow, within the stipulated period of time, as may be fixed by this court. Learned counsels for the opposite parties have no objection to the contentions aforesaid. Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the case, the opposite party no. 2/Director, Social Welfare Department, Directorate, Lucknow, is hereby directed to consider and take a decision on the recommendation/letter dated 30-05-2025, sent by the District Social Welfare Officer (Vikas),Lucknow within a period of one Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Som Kartik Shukla, Ravindra Kumar Ravi Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
