1. This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed, inter alia, for the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned letter dated 06.02.2024 bearing Ref. No. KDO/160 and 165/cancellation/758 issued by respondent No. 3 (Annexure no.1) to this writ petition). (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Kanpur Division Kanpur through its Managing Director (office of Marketing Division) to consider the claim of the petitioner and further direct the respondent No. 3 Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Kanpur Division Kanpur through its Managing Director (office of Marketing Division) to decide the representation/application of the petitioner dated 10.04.2019 pending before him expeditiously within stipulated period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
2. The entire dispute in this writ petition is purely contractual in nature. The 'Letter of Intent' issued by the Corporation was conditional and based on certain terms and conditions to be complied with by the petitioner. It is clear from the record that the petitioner has failed to comply with the said conditions and, accordingly, the 'Letter of Intent' has been cancelled/withdrawn by the Corporation.
3. Upon perusal of the reasons indicated in the impugned order, it is clear that the order is reasoned and has been passed after granting several opportunities to the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, we do not find any reason to interfere with the
order impugned.
5. The writ petition stands dismissed.
