Heard Sri Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This petition has been filed seeking following main relief:- "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties nos.1 to 3 to protect the petitioner's life and may also be please to direct for non interference of the opposite parties nos.4 and their associates along with family members in the peaceful life of the petitioner, in the interest of justice." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent No.4, who is father of the petitioner, is pressurizing the petitioner for marriage with his choice whereas the petitioner is major in age and she does not want to marry, therefore, the police is harassing the petitioner on the behest of the respondent No.4. 4. Learned A.G.A., on the basis of instructions dated 03.01.2025 received from Sri Dhananjay Kumar Singh, Sub Inspector, Police Station Chinhat, District Lucknow, submits that an application of the petitioner was received through post, on which an enquiry was made from the family members of the petitioner, who have denied the allegations of the petitioner and it has been stated that they are not interfering in personal Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Smt.
