HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - A No. - 12000 of 2025 Court No. - 7 HON'BLE MANISH MATHUR, J.
1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite parties.
2. Present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India has been filed challenging punishment order dated 29.07.2016 as well as appellate order dated 03.01.2024.
3. Learned State Counsel at the very outset has raised a preliminary objection that petitioner has already filed WRIT - A No. - 17251 of 2017 before this Court at Allahabad against the same punishment order, which is still pending consideration.
4. Learned counsel for petitioner however submits that subsequent to filing of the said petition, appellate order was passed in year 2024, which is not under challenge.
5. In view of submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, considering the fact that punishment order dated 29.07.2016 is already under challenge in the said petition, it would be appropriate for petitioner to seek amendment in the said petition by challenging appellate order passed on 03.01.2024.
6. In view thereof, the petition stands dismissed subject to the aforesaid observations. October 14, 2025 kvg/- Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ramesh Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
