Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandankiyari P.S. Case No. 129 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 61(2), 281, 292, 325 & 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 and Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition Act, 2005, pending in the court of Ms. Tabinda Khan, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Bokaro.
On 01.06.2025, Chandankiyari Police intercepted a Tata Infra V 30 bearing registration No. JH01EG-6326 and seized about one and half tons of bovine bones.
It was submitted that the seized bovine bones were that of buffaloes, which is not prohibited animal.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Tabinda Khan, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Bokaro, or her successor, in connection with Chandankiyari P.S. Case No. 129 of 2025.
