In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief: “to issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and process the claim of the petitioner for Medical Allowance which is due for last 5 years along with 12% simple interest at the claimed amount from the date it became due to the petitioner.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some amount of medical allowance has not been paid by the employer Central Coalfields Limited. It is his case that he has already 2025:JHHC:27280 2 represented before the authorities, but no decision has yet been taken. Suffice it would be, if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CCL submits that if the petitioner files a detailed fresh representation before the respondent no. 3-Director (Personnel), his case will be considered. 5. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 3- Director (Personnel), Central Coalfields Limited who will consider the case of the petitioner. 6. The representation should be filed within four weeks and the decision should be taken within six weeks thereafter. 7. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits the same should be extended to the petitioner. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. 8.
