Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 10.08.2021, the Respondent-Police have already completed investigation in the present case and the charges are also framed against the Petitioner-Accused. However, the charge-sheet could not be numbered because of the change in the Judicial Officer. 3. In view of the fact that the investigation is already completed and the case is pending only for the numbering of the charge sheet, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Criminal Petition instead of keeping it pending. 3 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of, directing the police to file a charge sheet and get it numbered as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
