GP FOR FORESTS 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 28297 of 2025 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “....to issue any appropriate writ, order or direction preferably a writ in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the respondents respondent No.4 in not acting upon the proceedings/instructions of the 3rd Respondent vide Rc.No.05/2023, dt. 20-06-2025 is being illegal, arbitrary, unjust and against the principal of natural justice and violative of Article 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to act upon the proceedings/instructions of the 3rd respondent in accordance with law…” 2. Heard Sri V.Subrahmanyam, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. Baliboyina Sravani, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Forests for the respondents. 3. As can be seen from the record, a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.10.2025 directed the 4th respondent to conduct elections to the 5th respondent within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of that order and disburse the amount to the members of the 5th respondent within a period of two (2) months thereafter and further to report this Court by submitting reports of the status every month until further direction. 4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Forests submits that the interim order dated 4 29.10.2025 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court has not yet been complied with and seeks further time for compliance of the said order. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Forests, the petition may be disposed of, with a direction to comply with the said order as expeditiously as possible. 6. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the 4th respondent is directed to comply with the order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court dated 29.10.2025 by conducting elections to the 5th respondent and disburse the amount to the members of the 5th respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
