Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has prayed for the following substantial reliefs: "(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned citation of recovery dated 12.8.2025 and notice dated 17.8.2024 issued by opposite party no.5, as contained in Annexure No.1&2 to the writ petition. (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to recover the amount in pursuance of citation dated 12.8.2025 from the petitioner." 3. As the provisional assessment has been carried out by the authority, the petitioner is directed to file an objection to the same within a period of two weeks from date and once the objection is filed, respondent authorities should grant personal hearing to the petitioner and thereafter final assessment should be carried out within a period of eight weeks from date. 4. In light of the above order passed, impugned citation of recovery dated 12.08.2025 is quashed and set aside.
