JUSTICE ALOK JAIN Present: Mr. Rakesh Nehra, Senior Advocate, with Mr. Vikas Hooda, Advocate, for the petitioner. *** SUDHIR SINGH (ORAL) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner- company has sought issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the resumption letter dated 17.09.2012 (Annexure P-24) issued by respondent No.2. 2. During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer only to the extent of refund of the amount, already deposited by the petitioner with the respondent-authorities. He further submits that with regard to the refund of total amount, the petitioner has already made a representation dated 17.01.2025 (Annexure P-27) to the competent authority (respondent No.3). He further submits that the refund is being claimed in light of the impugned order dated 17.09.2012 (Annexure P-24), whereby it is specifically mentioned that the amount deposited towards the principal AJAY PRASHER 2025.05.06 12:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CWP-2718-2025 (O&M) -2- cost was being refunded to the petitioner separately, after deductions as per terms and conditions of the allotment. 3. Served with the advance copy of the petition, Mr. Ankur Mittal, Addl. A.G., Haryana, appears on behalf of the respondents and submits that the said representation shall be considered and decided by the competent authority, in accordance with law. 4. Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Managing Director, HSIIDC (competent authority), to look into the matter and pass an appropriate reasoned order with regard to the refund of the amount, as per entitlement of the petitioner, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order. 5.
