Heard the parties. 2. The wife, namely, Neelam Minj of this petitioner died on 14.04.2023. She was working as Assistant Teacher in Government Upgraded High School, Murgu within a District of Gumla. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that none of the death- cum-retiral benefits has been disbursed to the petitioner. 4. Considering the submission of the petitioner, I direct the petitioner to approach the District Education Officer (DEO), Gumla at Gumla-respondent No.3 claiming death-cum-retiral benefit of Mrs. Neelam Minj. The respondent No.3 will disburse the unpaid amount to the registered nominees. If there is no nomination, it would be disbursed in proportion after production of an appropriate succession certificate. 5. So far as of payment is concerned, where there is any nomination, the same should be disbursed within a period of eight weeks to the person in whose favour there is nomination. Where there is no nomination, within eight weeks on production of the succession certificate. 6. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Sandeep, cp2
