Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sikidiri P.S. Case No. 10 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 309(4) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Ms. Divya Raghav, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Ranchi.

On 02.03.2025, co-accused Shekh Jahir @ Sheikh Zaheer was apprehended while he and other co-accused persons were robbing the informant near Bhusur forest beside Getalsood Dam. Robbers looted mobile phones, sound box, wristwatch, silver chains and other articles from the informant.

It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of co-accused Shekh Jahir @ Sheikh Zaheer. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that co-accused Shekh Jahir @ Sheikh Zaheer and Farhan Khan have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 4393 of 2025.

It appears that the petitioner has remained in custody for about six months. It further appears that the co-accused, who was apprehended at the spot, has been granted bail.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Divya Raghav, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Ranchi, or her successor, in connection with Sikidiri P.S. Case No. 10 of 2025.
