Vivek Singh Thakur, Judge (Oral) Present petition has been filed against the impugned judgment dated 09.10.2014 (Annexure P-6) passed by the Additional District Judge-I, Solan, Camp at Nalagarh, District Solan, HP, whereby objections filed by the present petitioner in the execution petition preferred by the respondents have been dismissed. 2 The issue which arises for consideration, in the case at hand, is with respect to award of interest on solatium. Besides, the ( 2025:HHC:2284 ) present petition, the impugned order dated 9.10.2014 (Annexure P-6) was passed in 31 other cases. 3 One of the similar petitions preferred by present petitioner bearing Civil Revision No.6 of 2015, titled Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary vs. Dayal Singh and others, vide judgment dated 11.08.2015 passed by Coordinate Bench was allowed and impugned order dated 9.10.2014 has been set aside. 4 Another similar Revision Petition No. 104 of 2015, titled Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary, HPH&UDA vs. Surinder Singh and others was allowed by the same Bench vide judgment dated 5th October, 2015 setting aside the impugned order dated 9.10.2014. 5 One more similar petition bearing Civil Revision No. 106 of 2015 titled Chief Executive Officer-cum-Secretary vs. Lachi Ram and others has been allowed by another Coordinate Bench vide order dated 2.12.2024 in terms of order passed in Civil Revision No. 6 of 2015. 6 Since the issue in consideration in present petition is also the same, as arose for consideration in Civil Revision Nos.6, 104 and 106 of 2015, therefore, for similar reasons as stated in judgment dated 11.08.2015 passed in Civil Revision No. 6 of 2015 and judgment dated 5.10.2015 passed in Civil Revision No. 104 of 2015, present petition is allowed and impugned order dated 9.10.2014 (Annexure P-6) is quashed and set aside in the same terms. 2 ( 2025:HHC:2284 ) Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
