Dhar, learned counsel for the State of Assam, who prays for 3 (three) months’ extension to comply with the order dated 03.04.2025 passed in WP(C) 342/2025 and other linked cases w.e.f 03.10.2025. Mr. R. Dhar submits that due to large number of cases that had been Page No.# 2/2 disposed of pertaining to the same issue and the short amount of time given to the applicant Government, three months’ extension may be granted for compliance with the order dated 03.04.2025 passed in WP(C) 342/2025 and other linked cases w.e.f 03.10.2025. On considering the above submission made by Mr. R. Dhar, this Court is of the view that three months’ extension should be given to the applicant Government. Accordingly, the applicant Government is granted three months’ extension for compliance with the order dated 03.04.2025 passed in WP(C) 342/2025 and other linked cases w.e.f 03.10.2025.
