HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 35892 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Gyanendra Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents and Sri Sher Bahadur Singh, learned counsel for the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.2 to decide the stay application filed in an appeal being case no. 1058 of 2025 (Reshama Devi and another vs. Saddiq and others), arising out of proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. A copy of the aforesaid order which is appended to the writ petition indicates that the appeal is yet to be admitted. Moreover, the application for interim relief which has been annexed along with the petition does not indicate any specific reason on the basis of which the interim prayer has been made. The writ petition is accordingly not entertained. It would, however, be open to the petitioner to press for appropriate relief, before the court concerned where the appeal is stated to be pending. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
