Survey no. 17/2 to the extent of 1- 18.00 Hectors, 2. Survey No. 17/3 to the extent of 1 -21.50 Hectors, 3. Survey No. 18/1 to the extent of 0-27.00 Hectors, 4. Survey No. 18/2 to the extent of 0-76.00 Hectors, 5. Survey No. 19/2 to the extent of 1-55.50 Hectors, 6. Survey No. 19/3 to the extent of 0-68.00 Hectors, 7. Survey No. 25/10 to the extent of 0-24.50 Hectors, 8. Survey No. 25/14 to the extent of 0-21.50 hectors, 9. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 3. The petitioner owns property situated in vellore district K V kuppam Taluk, Murukkamattu Village in survey Nos 1. Survey no. 17/2 to the extent of 1-18.00 Hectors, 2. Survey No. 17/3 to the extent of 1 -21.50 Hectors, 3. Survey No. 18/1 to the extent of 0-27.00 Hectors, 4. Survey No. 18/2 to the extent of 0-76.00 Hectors, 5. Survey No. 19/2 to the extent of 1- 55.50 Hectors, 6. Survey No. 19/3 to the extent of 0-68.00 Hectors, 7. Survey No. 25/10 to the extent of 0-24.50 Hectors, 8. Survey No. 25/14 to the extent of 0-21.50 hectors, 9. Survey No. 25/1B to the extent of 0-39.00 Hectors to the total extent of 10.97 ¾ acres. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application before the respondents and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far the respondents did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the aforementioned properties belong to the petitioner. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid property based on the title deed produced by him, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor. 5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
