The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed to consider his case for grant of compassionate appointment as his father, died in harness on 01.07.2020. 3. In the writ petition, it has been submitted that father of the petitioner, who was an employee of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), died in harness and thereafter the petitioner had applied for grant of compassionate appointment, but as yet no decision has been taken. 4. Learned counsel representing the respondent – BCCL, on instructions has produced the documents before me to suggest that the application for compassionate appointment was considered and 2025:JHHC:25584 2 dismissed on 27.06.2022 itself and was communicated to the mother of this petitioner vide communication dated 14.07.2022. 5. Both these documents have been handed over to me by learned counsel representing the respondent – BCCL. The same are kept on record. Since the claim of compassionate appointment has already been dismissed by giving reasons, I am of the opinion that the petitioner, if so advised, can challenge the same by filing a separate writ petition. 7. With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition stands disposed of, with the liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of dismissal of the compassionate appointment. (ANANDA SEN, J.)
