Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that an FIR bearing Case Crime No.266 of 2015 under Section 302, 201, 120-B IPC, Police Station-Barhalganj, District Gorakhpur, was lodged by him against the respondent and a final report in the said case was submitted in the year 2015. When he came to know about the final report submitted by the I.O., a protest petition was filed by him in the year 2018 on which a direction for further investigation was passed by the court concerned on 13.1.2020. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to expedite the further investigation. 3. Prayer sought to expedite the further investigation is not maintainable before this Court. However, the applicant can raise such prayer before the concerned Magistrate by whom the order for further investigation was passed. The concerned Magistrate may seek the status of the investigation and do the needful for expediting the investigation of the case in accordance with law. 4.
