By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief(s):- “10.1 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the order dated 27.11.2014 (Annexure P-1) passed by the respondent No. 1 in the interest of justice. 10.2 Cost of the proceedings. 10.3 Any other relief in the discretion of this Hon’ble Court.” 2. Mr. Vinay Pandey, Dy. Advocate General appearing for the State would submit that the water charges were assessed by a committee constituted by the State Government and according to the assessment carried out by the committee, the total amount of water charges is Rs. 16,32,13,380/- and out of the said amount, the petitioner has already paid Rs. 11,29,34,757/- and a sum of Rs. 5,02,78,723/- was balanced for payment. He would further submit that during the pendency of this petition, the petitioner has paid the additional sum of Rs. 2,00,00,000/- and the outstanding amount is Rs. 3,02,78,723/-. 3. Mr. Malay Shrivastava, counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to pay the balance amount of Rs. 3,02,78,723/- in installments and the entire balance amount would be paid by 31st of July, 2025. 4. On such a statement made by Mr. Shrivastava, Mr. Pandey would raise no objection. 5. Taking into consideration the above-discussed facts, this petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make payment of the outstanding 3 amount of Rs. 3,02,78,723/- by 31st of July, 2025 in installments. If the petitioner fails to make payment of the aforesaid amount by 31st of July, 2025, the respondents would be at liberty to recover it and the amount shall carry penal interest at the rate of 18% per annum. 6.
