Jain, learned Standing Counsel, Water Resources Department, for the opposite party/respondent Nos.1 to 4 and Mr. G. Bakalian, learned Junior Government Advocate, for the respondent No. 5 By this application, the applicant, who is the writ petitioner in WP(C) No. 181/2023 is praying for impleadment of “The Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dispur, Guwahati-06” as party respondent No. 6, in the said writ petition. It is the case of the applicant that after the respondent No. 5 in the writ petition has filed counter affidavit, it has come to the knowledge of the applicant that the aforesaid proposed respondent is a necessary party. Ms. D. Jain, learned Standing Counsel, Water Resource Department, has no objection. This Court has also considered the cause shown in the present application is satisfied and accordingly, the prayer for impleadment is allowed. I.A. stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
