Heard Sri Manoj Kumar Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for early disposal of Appeal No.2024 of 2025, preferred under Section 6 of the Uttar Pradesh Control of Goondas Act, 1970 before respondent no.2 (Commissioner, Meerut Division Meerut). At this juncture, learned counsel has also submitted that his stay application is also pending disposal, though there is nothing on record to show that the stay application has been filed or is disposed of, but believed the submission of the learned counsel. Hence, the present writ petition is moved. 3. Learned A.G.A. accepts notice for the State. 4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide the appeal in Case No.2024 of 2025 at an early date, if the stay application is not decided till date, the same shall also be decided on or before the next date fixed. 5. Till the disposal of stay application, the operation of order dated 07.08.2025 passed by respondent no.3 (Additional Police Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Manoj Kumar Tiwari Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Gulzar .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 3 Others .....Respondent(s) Commissioner, Commissionerate, Ghaziabad) in Case Crime No.69 of 2025 under Section 2/3 of the Uttar Pradesh Control of Goondas Act, 1970, is kept in abeyance.
