Learned counsel for the appellants states that the learned single Judge had omitted to grant the relief as had been prayed for by the petitioners (appellants herein) by way of an interim measure. HCJ & RQJ WAs_681,682 & 683_2025 3. It appears that a representation was filed by the petitioners with the official respondents to upgrade the schools with permission to run classes upto class 8 which was not acceded to by the official respondents and the District Educational Officer concerned by orders, dated 06.02.2025 and 27.04.2025 returned the proposals to be resubmitted insofar as the petitioners in WP.Nos.13989 & 14066 of 2025 are concerned. This was sought in terms of G.O.Ms.No.117, dated 10.06.2022, which appears no longer to be in existence as the same has been superseded by G.O.Ms.No. 19 followed by clarification vide G.O.Ms.No.21, dated 13.05.2025. 4. It is stated that the petitioners were primarily aggrieved of the downgrading of their schools which were earlier running classes from class 1 to class 8 and after downgrading the schools were being permitted to run classes from class 1 to class 5. 5. The learned single Judge, however, considering the fact that G.O.Ms.No.19, dated 13.05.2025 had been issued which was in vogue, directed the consideration of the case of the petitioners in terms of the said G.O.Ms.No. 19. In our opinion, the orders passed by the learned single Judge warrant no interference. 6. The Writ Appeals are found to be without merit and accordingly dismissed.
