It is contended that the petitioner’s husband, who is the resident of Chennai had gone to the office of the District Collector, Tirupati on Since then he went missing and his whereabouts were not known to the petitioner. The petitioner apprehending illegal detention by the ^ police, filed the present writ petition. 2. 02.06.2025. When the matter is taken up today, learned Government Pleader attached to the office of the learned Advocate General submits that a crime registered against the petitioner’s husband, the alleged detenue, on 06.06.2025 in Crime No.332 of 2025 and the petitioner was taken into custody on 07.06.2025, and he is being produced before the concerned Magistrate i.e. Ill Additional District Magistrate, Tirupati,today. 3. was Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in reply would submit that the alleged detenue went to Tirupati on 02.06.2025, since then his 4. 2 whereabouts were not known to the petitioner. He contends that there might be illegal detention by the police, before he was arrested. In view of the foregoing, since the alleged detenue has already been 5. produced before the concerned Magistrate Court in connection with the Crime No.332 of 2025, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedies available under law. 6. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
