Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India to direct the respondents to restrain them to not disconnect the connections for supply of tubewell connections running on 24 hours in the absence of the policy from AP Urban Feeder to AP Rural Feeder, and restraining the respondents from transferring the power connection of petitioners from Urban Feeder, Patti Sub Division (Tarn Taran) to rural feeder or any other feeder, which are being used by the petitioners to run their tubewells for irrigation purposes from the last number of years. 2.
