1. These four petitions concern recruitment for the post of Junior Court Assistant in the establishment of the respondent-Supreme Court of India, pursuant to an advertisement dated 04.02.2025.
2. The petitioners are aspirants for appointment in various reserved categories, namely Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections. They have raised various contentions with regard to the recruitment process, and the applicability of reservation in accordance with law. However, an adjudication is unnecessary at this stage, as Mr. Chetan Sharma, learned Additional Solicitor General, submits upon This is a digitally signed order. This submission is made without prejudice to the contentions of the respondent with regard to maintainability of these petitions.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, Mr. M.R. Shamshad, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners, does not press these writ petitions, at this stage, leaving open the rights and remedies of the petitioners.
4. The petitioners will submit comprehensive representations to the respondent by tomorrow, i.e. 30.05.2025.
5. The writ petitions, alongwith the pending applications, are
disposed of in terms of the aforesaid submission.
