Heard Sri Nand Lal Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents and Sri Azad Rai, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No. 3, the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj to decide Appeal No. 580 of 2021 (computerized case no. C- 202102000000580), under Section 207 of U.P. Revenue code, 2006, Ram Karan and others vs. Arvind Kumar Yadav and others), expeditiously and within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioners has referred to the 'order sheet' of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition to point out that although several dates have been fixed but for some reason or the other, matter has been adjourned. The delay in disposal of the case is stated to be causing hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made for a direction to the respondent No. 3, the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj, to conclude the proceedings at an early date. Having regard to the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the respondent No. 3 would make an endeavor to conclude the proceedings of the case, which is stated to be pending before it, preferably within a period of six months, without granting any Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Deo Dayal, Nand Lal Yadav Counsel for Respondent(s) : Azad Rai, C.S.C.
