Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:28404 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 6370 of 2025 ------ Mukesh Mishra, aged about 24 years, S/o. Mahesh Mishra, R/o. Lal Bhatta, Near Hanuman Mandir, P.O. & P.S.- Sidgoda, Dist. East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. … … Petitioner -Versus - The State of Jharkhand ... … Opposite Party ------ CORAM: - HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ------ For the Petitioner : Mr. A. K. Kashyap, Sr. Advocate For the State : Mr. V. K. Vashistha, Spl.P.P. ------ 03/16.09.2025 Heard the parties. 2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 165 of 2024 arising out of Chandil P.S. Case No. 75 of 2024 corresponding to G. R. Case No. 237 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302 and 120B of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Chandil. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 8719/2024. 4. On 29.03.2024, daughter of the informant, was shot dead by unknown persons. During the course of investigation, husband of the informant namely Ravi Agrawal was apprehended and he confessed that this petitioner was hired by him for committing murder of his wife. It appears that confession of this petitioner led to arrest of main assailant and on their confession murder weapon was recovered. 5. Report regarding the stage of trial and time required for its conclusion, earlier called for from the learned Trial court, has been received. It appears that out of six charge-sheeted witnesses, three witnesses have already been examined. 6. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected once again. 7. The learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
