This grievance of the petitioner is that despite submitted a report dated 28.08.2020 by registered post, the 4th respondent has not registered a crime and has not taken any action on the said report. Hence, this petitioner has been filed seeking a direction to the police to register a crime basing on the said report. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the details of such representation/report are not available in the records, particularly since the period in question was during the COVID-19 pandemic. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the submissions made by both sides, this writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation 4 before the 4th respondent, if the earlier representation dated 28.08.2020 is not available on record or in case the representation was not considered by the police for registration of the crime it is always open to the petitioner to work out his remedies before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
