Notice on behalf of respondent no. 1 has been accepted by the office of the learned Chief Standing Counsel. In view of the order proposed by the Court, notice to the private respondents no. 2 to 4 is dispensed with. By means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of a second appeal bearing No. 2508 of 2024 pending before the Board of Revenue relating to the year 2024. Considering the submissions as well as the extracts of the order sheets, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition at this stage leaving it open for the petitioners to move an appropriate application before the court concerned and needless to say if any application for expedite hearing is moved, the court concerned shall take note of it and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. It is also clarified that mere dismissal of this writ petition at this stage may not be taken as an expression of opinion on merits nor shall it create an impediment for petitioner to approach this Court in case if any cause arises for expedition arises relating to a second appeal of the year 2024. With the aforesaid, the petition is dismissed.
